You can add IPS patches to the database by double-clicking an IPS file in Windows Explorer, or by selecting 'Tools->Install IPS Patch' (or the 'Add Patch' button). Now, to actually play some hacks, you need to 'install' your IPS patches. Use Tools->Install ROM or the 'Add ROM' button to give Patch Manager the location of a ROM file. You will be prompted to specify the location of your ZSNES installation.ģ. After installing, the extractor will run the program. Install the program using the self-extracting. I haven't included any documentation in the installer, so here's a quick rundown.ġ. This program handles everything - once you've installed it, just tell it where your emulator (only ZSNES is supported right now) is installed, give it the location of some clean, unhacked ROMs, and then double-click any IPS patch file in Windows Explorer. It's basically a utility for managing IPS patches, so you don't have to bother with renaming your ROMs, copying files, patching files, etc. This is a little something I cooked up over the past few days.
